The Orion project consists of the renovation of a commercial unit for the implementation of a Nautical Academy in Valencia, conceived to transform an existing space into a functional, representative environment consistent with the identity of the maritime world. The intervention aims to create a clear and recognizable image from the entrance, combining contemporary design with subtle references to navigation.

Access is resolved through a clean facade open to the street, where the transparency of the storefront allows the interior to be seen and strengthens the relationship between the teaching space and the urban setting. The reception area is located next to the entrance and is configured as the main element of the project. A backlit white desk, accompanied by nautical decorative elements, creates a warm and representative image that reinforces the school’s identity.

The choice of materials responds to durability and visual clarity. Wood flooring adds warmth, while white walls and uniform lighting guarantee a bright environment suitable for teaching use. Details in natural tones and decorative elements linked to navigation reinforce the concept without falling into excessive theming.

The result is an orderly, functional, and easily recognizable space where the renovation not only improves the conditions of the existing premises but also builds an identity of its own aligned with the activity it houses. Orion is conceived as a contemporary, clear, and welcoming interior capable of conveying professionalism and closeness through a simple and precise architectural language.
